Lately I have been thinking about how fortunate I am. I really do seem to meet the nicest people.

For example, I have been taking different types of fitness classes and have made some acquaintances. When class was over the other night, one of my "friends" from boxing class gave me a ride home.

I usually wait for the bus to pick me up and every week this lovely lady asks me if I want a ride - she is not comfortable just leaving me to wait by myself. I finally decided to take her up on her offer. (I don't like waiting for my bus at night and am not "comfortable" waiting alone either).

I hope she knows how much I appreciate her going out of her way for me.

Then, the other day I had to do an Amazon return. First time all by myself. When I got into the location for the return, there was no one to help. It was all automated. I got nervous. I realized that the people that were there ahead of me weren't too sure how to work the return process either and we all wound up helping each other. It was great.

Why can't people just help each other out every day.? The world would really be a much happier place if everyone could slow down a bit and be kind to each other.

It's also cool when you think how a stranger can become an acquaintance and then that acquaintance can turn into a friend - if you give them a chance.

Love it Amy! People see the good in you and you see it in others- that is what helps to make the world a better place!
